Stucka pleads guilty to several charges linked to fatal crash

A man connected to a fatal crash last fall pleaded guilty to several charges including criminal negligence causing death when he appeared in Court of Queen’s Bench in Battleford on Friday.  

Brandon Stucka, 27, of Lloydminster, Sask., faced numerous charges related to the crash on Sept. 22, 2017 in the RM of Wilton, Sask., that killed three women and caused injuries to another woman.

Stucka pleaded guilty to three counts of criminal negligence causing death and to one count of criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

He also pleaded guilty to flight from a peace officer, failure to stop at the scene of accident, possession of property obtained by crime (a Dodge truck valued at over $5,000), break and enter to a business, and to a breach of a condition of a prior order by being at-large.
