N.B. crash stops traffic during snowy noon-hour collision

Local first responders offered their assistance Friday when a car and SUV collided at a busy intersection in North Battleford.

The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. near Territorial Drive and Pioneer Avenue during a period of heavy snowfall. 

Battlefords RCMP, North Battleford fire department, and the local ambulance helped at the scene.

The fire department confirmed a female driver of one of the vehicles was treated for minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Traffic was closed while police controlled the scene following the collision.

The RCMP continue to investigate the incident.
