RCMP continues to investigate fatal crash near Paynton

One person is dead and two others are injured after a fatal car crash south of Paynton last week, Sept. 15.
Around 4 p.m. Maidstone RCMP, Maidstone EMS and Fire Services responded to a single vehicle rollover on a grid road five kilometres South of Paynton.
A 48-year-old male from the Poundmaker Cree Nation, who was a rear passenger in the car, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 44-year-old man from North Battleford who was the driver and a 58-year-old man from Poundmaker Cree Nation were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
