Two vehicles collide on Territorial Drive

Battleford’s RCMP are continuing their investigation into a two vehicle collision on Territorial Drive that happened around 9 p.m. on Tuesday night.

A 46-year-old woman from Camrose Alta. driving a Ford Focus collided into the rear end of a GMC Sierra operated by a 16-year-old male from North Battleford. Emergency crews including ambulance and the North Battleford Fire Department were on the scene.

Battleford’s RCMP Cpl. James Fenrich said the occupants of the vehicles sustained undetermined injuries and no charges have been laid as the matter is under investigation.

Police responded to an unrelated call at the Battlefords Union Hospital at roughly 9:30 p.m. when a 16-year-old male came in with three minor stab wounds. According to a media release, the youth was uncooperative with officers and would not provide any further details on how he received his injuries. The matter is still under investigation.
