The Turtleford RCMP say Royce Vizina has been located.

Vizina was found nearly one kilometre south of Paradise Hill on the edge of a farmers field by a family member, according to a release.

He is reported to be doing well, though RCMP say precautionary medical attention is being provided.

Turtleford RCMP are requesting assistance from the public to locate a 76-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

Royce Vizina was last seen in the community of Paradise Hill on August 12 at approximately 4:00 p.m. wearing blue jeans, a light blue short sleeve shirt, and brown running shoes.

Vizina is described as 5’6”, 150 lbs, with short dark brown hair, and believed to be on foot in the rural area around Paradise Hill.

RCMP ask that property owners in and around Paradise Hill to check their property and outbuildings for Vizina.

If anyone has seen or been in contact with Vizina since yesterday at 4:00 p.m., please contact the Turtleford RCMP at 306-845-4520.
