Jul 18, 2017 | 10:21 AM

Saskatoon RCMP along with volunteers and other agencies are continuing the search for a 17-year-old boy.

The boy went missing Sunday night while swimming in the South Saskatchewan River near Saskatoon. Witnesses saw him on a beach at the Fred Heal boat launch 12 kilometres south of the city at roughly 8:45 p.m.

On Monday searchers combed the water and the shoreline on both sides of the river, according to Saskatoon Battalion Chief Len Protz. He also said the underwater SONAR unit was brought in yesterday as well.
