Nicole Sarauer named new interim Sask. NDP leader

The province’s New Democrats have elected a new interim leader.

Nicole Sarauer will take over as temporary head of the Saskatchewan NDP.

Sarauer is the MLA for Regina-Douglas Park.

She replaces previous interim leader Trent Wotherspoon, who stepped down earlier this month to mull a bid for the party’s permanent leadership.

The party will select a new leader at its May 2018 convention.
