Arrest made following armed robbery in North Battleford

An Onion Lake man has been arrested following an armed robbery in North Battleford early Wednesday morning.

At roughly 4 a.m., Battleford RCMP received a call of a man robbed at gunpoint outside a business in the 900 block of 101 St. The 25-year-old suspect allegedly pointed a firearm at a customer, then drove off.

Surveillance video obtained by police assisted in the arrest. RCMP also recovered a firearm as a result of the investigation.

The suspect will make his first court appearance at North Battleford Provincial Court today.
