RCMP investigating series of trailer break-ins in Riverview

Battlefords RCMP are investigating a series of break-ins to three trailers in the Riverview area on Wednesday morning.

Cst. Tara Anderson of the RCMP said the trailers were rummaged through but nothing was stolen. The scene was examined by the Forensic Identification Unit and the investigation is continuing.

Meanwhile, police also responded to a break and enter from a training centre on Thatcher Avenue. Thieves made off with a projector and tool pouch. The RCMP is also searching for a stolen bicycle with a pull carrier taken from the 1300 block of 97 Street. The bike is white with a blue carrier attached to the back and also says Allen Sports. A yellow helmet was also clipped to the back of the bicycle.
