Sask. government website experiencing ‘malicious attack’

If you tried to get on the provincial government’s website late Sunday night or early Monday morning and couldn’t, you aren’t alone.
The province said its website is experiencing a “malicious attack” that’s flooding its network and causing sporadic outages, as well as other system-related issues.
The government said its “actively using all available tools and consulting with experts.” A scrum with the deputy Minister of Central Services is scheduled for 12 p.m. Monday.
The province has not confirmed if the attack is related to the ransomware attacks that have happened in more than 100 countries throughout the world over the last four days.
