School bomb threat tied to white powder cases: police

Apr 26, 2017 | 6:53 AM

Emergency crews responded to a bomb threat at Aden Bowman Collegiate Institute Tuesday morning.

A letter sent to parents by principal Paul Humbert said police were called immediately after an emailed threat said there was a “potential explosive device” in the school.

The threat was determined to be low-level with no risk to staff and students. Classes weren’t disrupted as police investigated.

Police confirmed Tuesday afternoon the bomb threat was connected to the recent white powder scares in Saskatoon.
