One arrested following early morning break and enter

One person is in custody following an early morning break and enter that involved firearms in a community West of Battleford. The incident happened around 3:50 a.m. on Thursday.

The initial investigation revealed that the incident was a domestic problem and everyone involved were known to each other. No one was injured during the altercation and RCMP will release more details once the investigation is complete. Police have not identify which community this incident occured in.

Stolen vehicles

The Battleford RCMP detachment is also investigating three vehicles which were stolen Wednesday night. 

Cpl. James Fenrich said just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a 2012 White Honda Civic CRV was stolen from the 1700 block of 93 St. in North Battleford. Just a few minutes after the initial call, a green Ford F350 pick up was reported stolen from a residence in Delmas.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, a blue 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck was stolen from the 1900 block of 102 St. in North Battleford.

Officers are reminding residents to keep vehicles locked.
