Journey: showcasing local talent

Battlefords talent will be showcased at the Dekker Centre for two nights next weekend.

Since October, the Dekker Centre has been accepting auditions for its local talent showcase March 4 and 5. The performance, titled “Journey,” will feature eleven Battlefords artists performing songs or dances.

The artists set to perform are Jeremy Grey, Patrick and Andrea Whelan, Connor Newton, Lori Colvin, Trudy Moccasin, Falynn Baptiste, Zayda, Calvin Wuttunee, Cassandra Knisely and Bianca St. Martin.

The first show will be held March 4 at 7 p.m. with a second performance at 3 p.m. March 5.
