FOUND: Missing Alta. youths heading to Battlefords found

UPDATE: According to Lac La Biche RCMP, Amy Mackenzie and Mikayla Armstrong have been found and are safe. 

 

 

According to RCMP, two missing Alberta girls may be en route to the Battleford area. 

Amy Mackenzie, 15, and Mikayla Armstrong, 14, were reported missing Tuesday, Nov. 8 from Lac La Biche, Alta.

RCMP said both girls are travelling together.

Mackenzie is Caucasian, 5’3″, 100 lbs, with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black capris and a green winter jacket with fur trim on the hood.

Armstrong is also Caucasian and 5’3″, 95 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black yoga pants and a black hoodie with “Barbie” scrawled on the front.

If anyone has any information about their whereabouts, they’re urged to contact Lac La Biche RCMP or your local police.
