A Tisdale woman is over $1.5 million dollars richer with a jackpot win at the Gold Eagle Casino over the weekend.

Doreen Reid won $1,502,225.26 playing the slots in the Smoke Signals jackpot on Sunday Oct. 23 in North Battleford’s SIGA casino.

“On behalf of the board and employees of SIGA, and the Gold Eagle Casino, we would like to formally congratulate Doreen Reid and welcome her to SIGA’s Millionaires’ Club,” SIGA President and CEO Zane Hansen said in a media release.

Smoke Signals is a jackpot which links 52 slot machines at all six SIGA casinos. There are three mystery jackpot tiers which increase over time with both starting and ending prize values. The largest mystery jackpot has a minimum value of $1 million dollars and pays out before it hits $2. Any of the jackpots could be triggered each time a casino goer plays a Smoke Signals machine.
