Edmonton QB Reilly and RB White join Lions’ WR Burnham as CFL top performers

TORONTO — Edmonton quarterback Mike Reilly and running back John White and B.C. receiver Bryan Burnham are the CFL top performers for Week 16.

Reilly completed 25-of-34 passes for 346 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for another TD, as the Eskimos thumped Montreal 40-20 on Monday.

This marked the 12th game of season that Reilly passed for 300 or more yards as he chases the 6,000 yard passing mark. This season Reilly leads the league in passing yards with 5,054 and he is second in the league with 25 passing touchdowns.

White racked up two rushing touchdowns and 145 yards as well as 13 receiving yards on five catches in Edmonton’s win.

Burnham compiled 208 yards on nine receptions in the Lions’ 37-35 loss at Winnipeg on Saturday.
