Man killed in shooting in R.M. of Glenside

Biggar RCMP are investigating after a man was reportedly shot and killed in the RM of Glenside around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
 
In a media release, police said  five people in a vehicle drove onto a rural property and were confronted by the landowners.

The property owners and the people in the vehicle were not known to each other, according to police.. 
 
Police said at least one shot was fired after a verbal exchange, leaving a man in the vehicle dead.
 
A man, a woman and a girl who were in the car were arrested as part of an ongoing theft investigation. Police said they’re still looking for another man who was allegedly in the car.
 
Another man who police described as being associated to the property was also taken into custody.
 
Police said an autopsy is scheduled to determine the identity of the man who got shot.
 
RCMP have yet to lay any charges.
