Polling stations for municipal election confirmed

Jul 19, 2016 | 8:01 AM

City council has decided on three polling stations for this year’s upcoming civic election, instead of four during the elections of 2012.

The decision to reduce the number of stations was based on the number of voters who came out last election. The city felt three polls could sufficiently accommodate all voters.

Advanced polls, and voting stations at personal care facilities and the hospital are also available.

Residents who live south of 15th Ave. will vote at Notre Dame School while those who live north and west of 100th St. will cast ballots at Holy Family School. Residents east of the street will vote at the Civic Centre.
