The Dekker Centre draws the curtains on a new season

Residents of the Battlefords will not have long to wait before the new season at the Dekker Centre is unveiled.
The North Battleford entertainment complex will be featuring a wine and cheese reception tomorrow evening to accompany the video launch, “Take the Curtains Off” which will unveil what acts await the public in the coming 2016-2017 season.
17 shows will be launched from the running season of September 2016 to May 2017 and will be including a number of creative, musical and comedic performances held on the stage.
Previous acts of the past years have included a variety of local, national and international acts including Colin James, Platinum Blonde, Brett Kissel, the Fab Four and the Arrogant Worms. The centre has also hosted a variety of classical performance acts including the Vienna Boys Choir, the Ballet Jazz du Montreal, and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra.
