Two men from Meota have been identified as the victims in a deadly collision in northwestern Minnesota.

Allan Ray, 62, and Gordan Hagen, 67, were killed at the intersection of two county roads east of Grand Forks, North Dakota the afternoon of Wednesday, May 25. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s office, Hagen was a passenger and Ray was behind the wheel of a Dodge pick-up truck that failed to stop at a stop sign. The pick-up collided with a trailer being pulled by a telephone company vehicle.

The bodies of the two victims were taken to Grand Forks for autopsy. The sheriff’s office said relatives have been informed.
