RCMP turn to security video after car break-ins

Apr 8, 2016 | 10:19 AM

RCMP are looking for two people suspected of being responsible for a spree of vehicle break-ins in Battleford.

According to police, several vehicles were broken into and searched between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, and multiple items were stolen from them.  The break-in’s are prompting a reminder from the RCMP to ensure that vehicles are locked and valuables removed.

There is a security video that shows two male suspects with their faces partly covered. Police have released some stills from the video with the hope it will lead to their identification. They’re also asking anyone else with a surveillance system to check it during those hours.

Anyone with information is asked to call Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
