It was a decisive sweep for the SaskParty around the Battlefords, as all the incumbent MLA’s won their northwest constituencies on April 4.

In Cut Knife-Turtleford, the SaskParty’s Larry Doke was re-elected, topping the second place NDP candidate Danica Lorer by over 4500 votes.

In Biggar-Sask Valley incumbent SaskParty candidate Randy Weekes won by over 4000 votes with New Democrat Dan Richert coming in second place.

An Independent candidate in Kindersley made the lead up to the election interesting, but SaskParty MLA Bill Boyd was re-elected, beating former SaskParty MLA turned Independent Jason Dearborn by 3500 votes.
