Mar 4, 2016 | 7:37 AM

Tammy and Kevin Goforth will learn Friday morning, March 4, how long they’ll be in prison.

Justice Ellen Gunn is set to deliver her sentence at Regina’s Court of Queen’s Bench. Last month, sentencing submissions were presented after Tammy Goforth was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of a four-year-old girl who was in their care in 2012, and Kevin Goforth was found guilty of manslaughter in the death. Both were found guilty of unlawfully causing bodily harm in regards to a two-year-old girl in their care.

Tammy Goforth’s conviction comes with an automatic life sentence. The Crown has argued her parole eligibility be set at 18 to 20 years, while her defence lawyer argued it should be 10 years.

The Crown is asking for a life sentence in relation to Kevin Goforth’s manslaughter conviction, suggesting his parole eligibility should be seven years into his sentence. His defence lawyer has asked the court for a sentence of 30 months to eight years.
