Maidstone RCMP are reminding the public to lock up any vehicles, buildings and houses after a couple of incidents in the area.

On Jan. 22 between 11 a.m. and 3p.m. someone broke into a rural residence east of Lloydminster and stole money and jewelry which, according to police, has great sentimental value.

Police are also looking into a break in on Feb. 11 between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. at the Lashburn Convenience Store where an undisclosed amount of food was taken.

Between Feb. 8 and 10 a truck was stolen from a residential driveway. The suspects returned the vehicle to the residence early on Feb. 10 where he doused the vehicle with diesel and attempted to take two other vehicles on the property causing significant damage in the process.
