Feb 15, 2016 | 12:11 PM

Police say five people suffered minor injuries in a collision Monday afternoon in North Battleford.

The crash happened during the noon hour, at the intersection of Battleford Rd. and the Highway 16 Bypass. RCMP say the driver and lone occupant of one of the vehicles, which entered the intersection while headed south, had to be removed from the wreckage using equipment. She faces a charge of driving without due care and attention.

All five patients were expected to be released from the hospital by late Monday afternoon.

The crash caused traffic delays, as both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
