Police warn Battlefords residents about recent break ins

RCMP in the Battlefords are asking residents to exercise caution after a number of recent break and enters in the area.

According to a release, there have been reported break-ins into residential garages resulting in thefts of property as well as vehicles.

Homeowners are being encouraged to secure their residences, garages, outbuildings and vehicles. Also exterior lighting is recommended and security systems can provide an extra level of protection.

Police ecourage residents to report any suspicious behavior to police.
