
Stars fall 4-1 to Estevan, as Bruins pull away late
The Battlefords North Stars fell 4-1 Tuesday night, to the Estevan Bruins in North Battleford.
A 1-1 tie heading into the third period, the goalies stole the show much of the evening.
Ulrik Roussel was the Stars’ best player on the night, stopping 33 of 36 Bruins’ shots in the loss, while Estevan’s Boston Bilous made 33 saves on 34 shots for the win.
The North Stars opened the scoring on Jordan Grill’s second of the season, coming on a slapshot from the point, making it 1-0 Battlefords with just under two minutes to go in the first.
